Dimvision: You can see in low-light conditions much easier. You face no penalties from Insufficient lighting, and the penalty for Minimal lighting decreases to -3, but the penalty for Abundant lighting increases to -2.
Lineages
- Ancient: In your long life, you've dabbled in many paths and many styles. A typical ancient elf is at least 100 years old, though you might be younger and particularly multitalented. You start with one more profession.
- Arctic: Your family come from the frozen north, and you have incredible resilience against cold environments, although you overheat easily. You gain Cold Soak equal to your Resistance (minimum 1). You treat your temperature as one step warmer than the environment's.
- Cavern: You gain infravision; you face no penalty from Insufficient or Minimal lighting, but the penalty for Abundant and Excessive lighting doubles.
- Seer: You have an inborn familiarity with the flow of magic. As a Utility (mental) action, you can cast Instant Detect Magic in a Pulse around you as an innate arcane power with a Tier equal to your Philosophy.
- Whisper: You gain a +1 bonus to your Perception tests that require or benefit from hearing, and the sharp-eared trait; you face no penalty to detect Insufficient sounds, and the penalty for Minimal sounds decreases to -3, but the penalty for Abundant sound increases to -2.
